For anyone who has a myspace page. A very nice man called Jesus (true), has posted a video of Arnold Layne on my comments page. Had to ask Jules what it was. Did not have a clue. Dont know exact date.

Touche. Can we call a truce now?
Jules said it was a B side. Geldof looks very "pretty boy" in it and the other  band members are sitting on the floor. I think it was made for American TV. It is also on youtube.

I've seen Bob wear those braces before, I'm sure and that hairstyle... but can't place the era. He changed things so many times!

It will be around 1980-81 when Bongo was released.  Banana Republic etc Mood Mambo that era..  Can't be more specific!

There's been an article about it on the Rats website. I've got the show on video tape somewhere. If I remember rightly it was a UK daytime chat show type of thing and BG was interviewed along with David Soul (Hutch). If you watch closely, Pete drops his bass guitar.

I think they did that song because BG was doing the Pink Floyd The Wall movie, but really they should have used it to promote a song they were going to release.
