I went to see the best tribute band/artist I have ever seen last night. If you put this band on the radio you would truly think that you were listening to Meatloaf, Ringer is that good.
The set is a story told by Meat loaf songs and a few others drawn in to piece it together. There are 4 female 'backing' singers, who each have powerful voices in their right and could easily do an act of their own.
There is a fun comedy element brought in which gets the audience involved and really adds to it.
If you like Meat Loaf, you'll like this too.
Here's the website, which has songs, some of the performance and tour dates
I'd love to see the real thing. I just tried to get tickets for Friday at Wembley - one ticket left in Block A!! Or some right at the far back in the corner. Should have got my act together.
there's tickets for Birmingham on a Friday (best day for us to travel elsewhere), but I can't get hold of my friend who came to Dead Ringer with us!! He's gone out and turned his mobile off. Left messages and hope he gets back in good time! Sure he'll want to come...
Wednesday, which I think is 23rd May, at Wembley. Not the best night as it's a week night and it always takes ages to get to and from Wembley but will be worth it.
Fortunately I am a bit closer to London than you so I don't to take any time off. North London is always a bit of a trek but on a week night it can take less time to leave later and miss the rush hour traffic.
