What do people think of Loudmouth?.Good or Bad.No Dave but Beat Of The Night.Only one new song Crazy.Good effort or missed chanced to do something better?.I for one would have put songs like  Dave,August Was A Heavy Month and Happy Club on it.

it's not very original...I get that on a greatest hits/best of album you need to have the hits and "best of", but still
maybe they should've done a poll or something to find out what people really wanted?

It's a good sampler mix of Bob solo and Rats good songs on there.

The biggest problem is that Loudmouth has no tracks from In The Long Grass at all, which is really too bad and unfair since all of their other albums were sampled. Maybe none of them were huge hits, but I agree with Derek, Dave at least really should've been on there.

It is a decent compilation and I am thankful for it because that's the first taste I got of BG & the BTR (first CD of theirs I bought). Other than Crazy and Love or Something, I was not too impressed with the solo stuff, and I too think better BG songs should've been used, and more of them (very uneven distribution of BG vs BTR tracks).

But Crazy was good. I'm glad there was that one new song, better than no new songs (like Great Songs of Indifference). Plus, the Loudmouth/Crazy era was a time where I thought Bob looked very handsome so that's another bonus.

Overall, it could've been better but it did a good job of getting all the BTR hits anyway. A decent start for any novice (like I was). It's definitely not how my compilation would look like but it's not bad.

It was the first cd, I heard whith BG and BTR, and I think it was good. Especially Beat of the night. And I also think he looks good. He still does.

I love it. I'm so happy that "The beat of the night" and "Crazy" are on it, two of my all time favourites, as well as "I dont like Mondays", "Rat trap"....

I just wish "Drag me down" was on it! I love that song!

Aren't there enough hits albums?    I didn't bother with the last one, just downloaded the new songs.

It does have House on fire. But in my opinion Rats songs and Geldof solo songs are not a very good mix I think this was done so people would here his solo stuff He did only have two hit singles That's if you call getting to number 26 and 15 in the charts with the two solo songs hits. That's why I guess a Geldof solo hits has never came out

There was supposed to have been one, but instead the four disc retrospective was released instead.

He could do a 10" vinyl called Boblife with Indifference, $6,000,000 Loser, Scream in Vain and Systematic Six Pack.  That would be the perfect Geldof hits LP.

100 per cent right. Geldof has some great solo songs on all his solo albums. But for me they just do not work with Rat tracks in the mix
