no it does not really matter how many black artists are going to be performing
just thought that this forum needed another post about the 'lack' of black artists. the point of the concerts is for awareness and for an impact on the members of the g8 summit...and already there has been, before the concert is performed. so even the mention of a concert does somehting...imagine what will happen when well-known artists appear on stage...it really wont matter how many black performers there
No it does not matter. Just to create more awareness and food for thought, I just want to point out that not all Africans are black. Saying that all Africans are black is like saying that all North Americans are white. Well are we? I rest my case.
Yes, Lotus--that's why we people who wanted more Africans as musical guests asked for Rachid Taha and Khaled. No big deal,however. Maybe another time. It was all good.
