Hi back in 1984 the Rats gave a very good performance on the Oxford Road Show from Manchester performing Tonight as their new single and possibly two other tracks from In The Long Grass. This was before BG's "new found " fame as world saviour. I Dont have one but it would be good if someone somewhere had a copy of this show to post on youtube as the band were living on their wits at the time with only good music to save them and came up with the goods (as per usual!)
I have this on good old fashioned vhs, as well as Tonight they performed Drag Me Down and theres a funny interview with Bob taking the piss out of Presenter Peter Powell.

Good news laibach- now all you need to do is the digital remastering and produce a 1080p high def version for us all! Cheers.
I have a vhs tape full of Boomtown Rats goodies,I will have to sort it out.
You must catalogue it Derek and see does it contain any ultra - rare goodies like live on Danish tv appearances or did the Rats ever play in Denmark in the glory years?
I moved to Denmark after the Boomtown Rats split up so I have no idea if they played here. The video I have is all from England but there is loads of good stuff on there.

I don't know you but always presumed you were a native Danish person - I'm fairly new to this forum hence my ignorance! There's lots of stuff on Youtube which is great, otherwise it would remain in various archives probably rarely seen. Let us know if there is anything you think dedicated fans may not have seen if you get the chance to view the tapes - regards, NOEL.
