Hi everyone, looks like there wont be a gig at the oakengates theatre. The box office confirmed today that Bob would not be appearing on the 8th October. Hope you have better luck with Wimbledon L & S Kaz.
We now have the UK gig dates in. We are just awaiting on a few confirmations of details. We should be in a position to add them to the tour dates section of the website in the next few days. Keep checking. Ian
Hi Kaz! Hope you get some good news or can go to another show! How did you meet Sir Bob and where are you in the picture? A bookstore? I work in a US bookstore but we have none of his books yet!! let alone a signing....
hi there motema, I met bob this year at the hay festival, I got two books signed after his talk, then when the crowds had cleared I popped back in and asked to have my photo taken with him, what a great night. I have some more pictures and when i get some time i will post them online. Great news i've got tickets to the gig in cardiff, Jules is also going hopefully some more of you will also make it. kaz.
Hello Kaz! You are so lucky! You got to talk to Sir Bob, first of all. Guess he's not going to make it over here to the States very soon. I work in a bookshop and am waiting for his books to be available; but I'm getting worried they would sell at this late date (late after Live8)--let alone have him for a book signing! But then that's why I like to visit this forum for the latest news! And then second, I'm so happy for you, you are going to Cardiff!
