Is this track meant to be the next single? Its a good track but the vocal mix is awful making the lyrics unhearable. Blow Fish was ruined in the same way. I love Geldof's voice as a singer but two of the best songs are mangled and rendered emotionally remote just by having a basically strangulated, faint vocal mix. A small bit of distortion is ok but what could have been two of the best tracks really leave me annoyed.

Blow Fish has great lyrics which you can make out only from the lyric sheet so the whole point of having lyrics for the song is almost made redundant. A case of Bob wasting his sweetness on the desert air.

Maybe these two songs will be remixed or re recorded with the vocals more prominent- perhaps with some live recordings -and fans would like them more.

I totally agree and mentioned this in my review that both are way over produced. The music is good though and I think we may prefer these songs live, that is if we ever get to hear them live!!!

Put very simply the vocals are way too low and faint- the just end up irritating rather than enlightening- and I'll say it again- I really love his voice- pity we can't hear much of it.

Yes you could say these two songs are overproduced. Wonder how Blow Fish would sound on a tranny. Yeah that's a radio just in case you were thinking otherwise.....
