.... the reason is it takes an age for the pages to load and expires people's quota for the month. Provide a link, but don't paste the picture (or just a small version that links to the bigger version). To do this you see that <> on the top right when you post. That gives you the HTML, so you can add something like this (take out the spaces though) .....
Even worse, I have looked in this pictures thread and there are a number of pictures in there with copyright notices on. Please remove these from the board (you may provide a link to the original source should one exist). Pretty much ANY commercial photograph is likely to have copyright associated, so please do not post them. If these pictures are not dereferenced, I will remove them.
OMG OMG I'm so glad I'm not on limited downloads (dial-up has some advantages, at least!). I've just browsed the "Name my band and other stories" thread in "Other Stuff" and although Arrgee's notice re no more big pics is definately needed, the HUGE pics are still in the thread = large downloads once in the thread.
Could some sort of warning be attached re the thread requiring large download capability?
