So that means we only have Blue Peter left for Bob to appear on for a full house of tv shows promoting the new cd!

Is he still promoting it?  Surely he's sold all the copies that are going to sell unless Jules, Scottie et al buy spare copies.

After Sir Bob Geldof complained of poor sales of his new album, music fans everywhere moved to explain its because they have heard some of his previous work.

I would have thought he'd be promoting the concerts by now.  I have seen the odd advertisement for them here and there.

I think Geldof should have tried to do a festival or two this summer (apart from the Hay, that's not a music festival).  Maybe he has or will, billed as a special guest.

The only way people are going to hear him is if he plays to a wider audience.  And that means turning up in a muddy field rather than popping up on daytime TV.

Why?

Four more than me.   I know one day I will buy it along with Gerry Cott's CD, but for now I shall resist.  In days of yore they would be in the bargain bins, but alas the digital age means less/no physical copies of more obscure records.

Lol one for house, one for car, downloaded another for iPod and then one from eBay with additional tracks. Completely nuts I know.

I was listening to She's A Lover yesterday,  and in the light of Bobs recent Statements about Paula found it very emotionally affecting. Really great lyrics and singing - 'She's a lover and she won't be back/ She's a lover and I got the sack/ I   can't take it or take her back/

' The best of us is love she'd say/ the rest of us dust and decay/ then my lover turned away/ she's a lover but the lovings gone/ bang bang its done.

Definitely one of my favourite tracks on the album- the sort of song that keeps me interested.
