Will be good if this does happen, but it's been on a link on RAM site for months and no dates have been mentioned yet. Not a vast amount of 2011 left so suspect it'll be maybe 4 or 5 gigs over a week at best while they're all off work and on the road. Really can't see this being a drawn out affair over weeks, with them meeting up/going home/meeting up etc.
The Boomtown Rats were formed in 1976 so someone needs to do the math as the Americans say! If the band keep gigging as the have been in the past year most fans will be happy I'd imagine,
According to Wiki Eddie and the Hot Rods were formed in 1975. Come to think of it the Boomtown Rats may have started out in 1975 as well.
The poster may be a case of Don't Belive What You Read. Hey hadn't they an album in the offing too at one stage? Maybe the very old fashioned album/tour idea of years ago may be regurgitated.
Yep, given the Ram connection, I would have thought a Rats/Rods/Jam/Blockheads night would sell a few dates. Anyway, a date within the M25 would suit me.
