Geldof has being acting the rock star ever since he stopped actually being one.

GC is certainly suave and sophistocated. Must be his Irish ancestors. Each nomination has to have an illustrative example of the actors/actresses talents so I've taken the liberty of including of from Georgie.

I can't see U tube, so have to hope you have something from one of his better films.

Not sure of my favourite female actress, but I love those old forties Film Noir actresses who always seemed to be up to no good, entangling their lovers in webs of deceit.

The film term is 'femme fatal' but unfortunately nowadays their is little to get too excited about in the world of cinema. Ides of March is starring George Clooney and got 85% on Rotten Tomatoes.

You may admire that other grey haired sophistocate Arsene Wenger as well.

As for actor/actress favourites, I admire Tom Hanks for taking a wide variety of roles and generally having hits regardless, but not an actor I would cite as 'great'. Thought Sellers was brilliant at times on the big screen, but not always. Would probably go with Bruce Willis if pushed, for the charisma in first couple of Die Hard films if examples needed.

Leading lady would prob be Cameron Diaz for me as well. Anyone that good looking who can laugh at themselves (we're a rare breed biggrin ) deserves plaudits. There's Something About Mary is the example I'd choose.

Ah, the coffee ad. I'm sure that GC drinks Nescafe along with Tony Head and Gambit (aka Gareth Hunt - whose name was used widely as slang at the time).

Excellent Mary Whitehouse sketch- brings back fond memories. Appreciation of those sketches is helped by the fact that I love history and spend a lot of time listening to wooly history academics debating on tv and radio.

One of my favourite comedians is Peter Serafinowitz- worth checking out on YouTube. His 'Stoned Wogan' is really good and great take off of Wogans accent.
