Why are Geldof gigs sit down affairs?

It's odd this Shepherd's Bush gig is seated.  I was looking at getting Blondie tickets a week or so later, and that's standing.  And checking through all the gigs there, pretty much all are standing.  So why are Geldof gigs sit down affairs?

PS Quite impressed with set list in Cardiff.  Well, OK, maybe a few more Rats songs would be better!

The gig I went to at Shrewsbury was standing. There were a few seats at the back. But who wants to sit there? Excellent for me as I know the form and where Bob would be and made my way to the best spot, close enough to Bob that I could have grabbed his legs.

I agree it seems odd to be totally seated.  All the ones I have been to have been seated apart from when I went to the festival.  Its a much better atmosphere if its standing.

ArrGee are you going to Shepherds Bush?

I haven't got a ticket yet, so right now no! (though things change)

Before you ask, I'd like to go, but just need to see if I can.  Such a shame there wasn't a gig in Glasgow.  I could have arranged a work trip to coincide   Always easier to do these things when you're away from home.
