I feel AWWFUL leaving little sheep deposits over this site Especially since verbal dysentary takes over and I end up writing epic novels instead of "blogg" - but I think this is a good place to ask.
I mentioned somewhere else maybe about launching an intl ethical and fair trade magazine that is part of a fair trade model I presented to Sir Bob a few years ago. Well it's a bit bigger than that, actually. I first formulated the strategic plans and model in the UK in 1996 - but it was a bit early for the world then.
Below is an outline of the philosophy - but to get to the point...
I'm interested in soliciting "fresh" interview with the great man himself for our first edition print run, which will probably coincide with his trip down under to Australia - so it would be a good opportunity to discuss and promote his music for the blues fest concert as well. I thought of approaching here first rather than his PR at ten alps mainly because there are "bloggers" writers and musos here who have a real interest and history with this enigmatic personality- called Bob.
We want an article that does not go on about him committing suicide and all that "stuff" - we want him as he is today, where he's going, his views on fair trade and his creative passions - a positive article. Perhaps many of the questions you pose for him in one of your threads would be a good start point to structure the interview.
Then of course, we would have to get him to agree to it - possibly too busy or unwilling for any pre-judge reasons but I don't perceive that it hurts to ask, if it helps him as well as what we are all fighting for - a better place to live for everybody not just a few selfish greedy bods. I would interview and ask myself but he'd probably ignore me - and I'm a bit "indifferent" anyway, he he (unless ma hero da bobi gee rat a tat tat king is da performin lata z, and den we canna sin tagether blue soul skin on skin like - doubtful, but ya know what I mean?). However a few perks like back stage passes to the blues fest concert so I can use the latrine would be nice - I'm not into those porta loo queues.
Anyone interested in submissions can email me, or the Managing Editor Bex Woof (Rebecca Woof - yes that's her real name): B.Woof@tobaworld.com - general article submissions for the Australian pilot close on 7th Jan 2006, 21st Jan 2006 for the international e-Zine. We pay and accept voluntary contributions.
Background:
First formulated in Hawaii 1996 and Glastonbury 1997 after meeting, discussion and researching with various cultures and communties internationally.
Since reviewing the Make Poverty History's interesting article after the Live 8 in which it is stated that they noted criticisms and I read their manifesto, I decided to include Bob's organization as one of the main beneficiaries in the net profit allocation (see philosophy below or request our "manifesto").
Philosophy/Overview of Commercial Proposition
The commercial proposition consists of: . eCommerce portal, community, marketplace, purchase and distribution model . eZine periodical of international news to members . paper-based sponsor driven (to minimise advertising) free magazine that mirrors the online offering.
The focus and content of the business model identified above is: CULTURE
Ethical, Sustainable, "Spiritual" (uplifting, evolving) and Fair Trade. Topical but not a "red left rag". The "zine" Tagline is:- Trends in Culture: People, Places, Planet. The mix is targeting mainstream merging culture through business and metaphysics, philosophies.
The paper based "zine" versions are gloss, high quality lifestyles indformation and education with mix of sponsored photo journalism, article and advertorial with a director that links to the e "Zone"
Production runs of the Zine will be smallish to start out, but will be significant due to corporate sponsor and distribution model that cannot be relayed here. The e-Zine will be large, and free.
50 % of the net profits of the commercial proposition are to go directly to nominated registered charitable international recipients in each of these > areas:
Children (e.g., World Vision) Environment (e.g., Green Peace) Health (e.g., Aids Foundation) Disadvantaged Groups (e.g. Blind Association) Poverty & Suffering Alleviation (e.g. MPH) and at least one "local" culture based cause in each country (e.g Australia: an Indigenous Australian Cause) > > It is important to note that this is a commercial proposition and not a > charitable operation - and is being run as a business with high level ROI > anticipated. In other words this is a business operation just as "Ten Alps" > is a profit making enterprise, run by business professionals. We > are simply contributing to ethical causes in the same way that "Body Shop" > makes 15% profit contribution of one of their product ranges. > > Further net profits (of my business share) will be used to assist and continue my own charitable association "The Buffalo Song Foundation" - a private charity trust - and my current Business Angel work internationally and in association with members of World Peace and Prayer Day (Spiritual and Tribal Leaders and People who support and work at grass roots level around the world towards poverty alleviation through SEE PEACE: Sustainable Environmental Ekistics and Preservation, Education Arts Culture Expression).
This aspect includes working with associated charities, groups and people for fair trade ventures - in assisting self sustainable incubator start up projects. The web portal and magazine will be utilised also as a marketing and online purchase distribution tool for these fair trade ventures.
We have a team of business professionals with appropriate skills and experience to ensure that this will be a successful working commercial model that is scalable and capable of meeting and adapting with the emergence of new enterprise technologies as they proliferate, such as rich media and web tv.

This is not a hoax. If it is over stepping the bounds of posting - my apologies and just delete. Best intentions in putting it here. Thanks, & PEACE.
