It is strongly believed that an audience tape of this show has been kindly set free by its carer after many years, it (apparently ) has such gems as Barefootin and Born To Burn in the encore and Its all the Rage and So Strange in the main set.
If one were to be in possesion of this MP3 how would it be best to make sure that other fans get to here it?
I myself use soulseek occasionally ( for non copyrighted items only of course) and wondered if that might be the best way for anyone who has this tape to share it.
I have no idea about sharing but it's good to know this tape exists. Doing some researce it seems to originate from a guy called Hans De Vente in Amsterdam who recorded loads of good bands during the punk era. Google Hans De Vente tapes for his blog.
I am surprised the set included It's All The Rage as I though that was a much later song. Haven't heard a live version of So Strange before.
Not sure about the settings/facilities on this forum , but if anyone sends me a private message i might be able to arrange for them to hear this recording>

Soulseek is ok if you get enough people with it and you don't need them up and running, likewise torrent.

Very good, though I got a bit of a shock on the second mp3, I thought it was a very different version of Mary. The show sounds superb, wish I was there. It's close to the new Rats in sound, so you can still get the next best thing. Maybe they could rehearse Barefootin'. Must have been done in the early stages of ATFTT with She's So Modern and Don't Believe What You Read appearing.

I'm useless at modern technology and downloading and all that but again thanks, Hans for making the Rats tape available.
