Obviously there are the six we all know, but do any other ex or current members fit the bill?

For me, Darren, Big Pete and Little Bob are Boomtown Rats.  Alan should be one by the end of the summer, but do others like Dave McHale count?  And what about Dave Maloney ?

Dave McHale latterly, though there are others.  Albie Donnelly played on the first album,  and Alan Holmes did Rat Trap.

Boomtown Brass - you can perhaps also include Spike Edney, Andy Hamilton, Pete Thoms - there are others who played the brass section, i cant recall right now.

But are they Boomtown Rats?   If it's just down to playing, then Visconti (and quite possibly Mutt Lange) are as well.
