Which by my reckoning leaves them available to play in Dublin the following night. Better check the ryanair schedules.
Seems likely if they are in Belfast they will do Dublin also. Was just checking, the capacity of the Ulster Hall is around 1800 people-seems the right size venue for a reunion tour.
No flights to Belfast from Stansted, so they better play Dublin. Apart from London gigs, the most accessible ones for me are the Irish ones. My Cork trip is a bargain in comparison to the Devon trip.
EasyJet fly from Stanstead to Belfast International. Always worth looking out for value flights. My new favourite airline is Flybe. Very friendly staff. Southampton airport was the quickest airport to train journey ever. Took about 5 mins.
Aer Lingus now fly into the London Southend airport!

I will never fly with EasyJet again. Last time I did, they left us waiting four hours for our luggage at Gatwick. Our cab driver gave up waiting and left us with no means of getting home. Were very lucky they had another driver dropping off at the time we finally passed through customs. And EasyJet's response was nothing to do with us...
This is a great venue for a group to play in The rats loved playing here. Everyone and anyone should be at this gig. The Boomtown Rats last played here to a full house on 28th feb 85 Still have the ticket. Now I am bring my two son's to the new gig 18 oct 13. did not ever think in a million years this would happen
If any of you are going to this gig. It would be nice to meet up. I used to get some stick because I kept buying the rats stuff When it was very uncool to do so. That's when I new nothing was going to change my mind on this band. Got to take on board. What they did in the last 70s. was great, it was not cool to be Irish and living in England at the time due to all the s**t happening in the north and parts of England So fair play to the English for supporting them
I'll be over, and more than happy to meet up. Due to land Fri AM so got all afternoon to explore. Let me know where/when a bit nearer the time.
Look forward to it.
For anyone else thinking of it from London area, FlyBe go into Belfast City from Gatwick, so much nearer gig, and cheaper than Easyjet into International too.
Good stuff Suss. My two son's will be with me They have heard them enough on record time to let them see what they are like live, One of my son's did come with me when Geldof was doing the rounds in 05 pushing the rats best off at the time to a full house and it went down a storm. this will be a good gig. Bands love playing here. (Ulster hall that is)
