I now know this is a 3 band gig with the Rats headlining. Any bets it is the Blockheads and Jam?????? Will have to wait till end of Jan to find out. It is at Cumbria Sports Academy Hensingham, in the town, and tickets go on sale 30 January
They said on the 28th on FB that the others on the Rats line up was not finalised yet. Should be known this week. Just hope to god it is not the BCR's Bob will have a hairy fit!!!
The first 100 people to email the festival louise@richardsonsoffice.net (Gerald Richardson runs the festival) will get cut price tickets for £30 instead of £38.50 Have asked who the line up is. They promised 2 other top acts. He usually replies pretty quick. Going to go for it myself.

Gerard Richardson, organiser of Whitehaven Live, has kindly donated 12 tickets for this amazing concert. Please note that under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.
To be in with a chance of winning one of six pairs of tickets, just answer the question on the site. The competition closes at 12 noon on Friday 27th June.
At least it is not a bloody field. there will be proper toilets and maybe a café? Think I will do that one. Just one train change at Newcastle.
Google Earth suggests it is a running track and not much else, if it is the Cumbria Sports Academy. Might be worth a pacamac, unless organiser can confirm indoor? Map suggests it might be a stage inside a 'stadium'. Confess I haven't checked his 'site' since early attempts led to not much more than a local events page.
A colleague of mine did that in a farewell email after 32 years service. She declared she would no longer have to search out her horrible green willies when winter came and which were too big for her anyway!
You'd have to know this lady to know it was entirely innocent which made it even more amusing.
Was amused at one of the recent WC games on tv in Ireland. A player on one of the teams had a prominent deadlock haircut. The game was 0-0 for ages, and the Irish commentator ( Steven Alkin) made the Freudian slip that someone 'needed to break the dredlock soon.......'
