The Chancellor last night paid tribute to the work of Midge Ure for his founding  of Band Aid and all his subsequent charity work.

very well deserved indeed. He deserves a kind word here and there as he doesn't get much recognition at all.

Now that is good to hear. He really does deserve the recognition for all his hard work.

He really is the forgotten man of Band Aid and live aid. He is a genuinely modest guy who does not push himself into the limelight. It is Bob and Bono who usuallly get all the credit.

Will someone please give him an award too?
