Why the fcuk has Joey's on the Street Again been dropped from the set?   Can't they stop all the dicking around on Mary of the Fourth Form and just play it, ideally in a medley with Kicks and Rat Trap?  Before you know it the set list will be Eva Braun, Mondays, the elongated Mary and Rat Trap followed by an extra extra long encore of The Boomtown Rats!

I quite like the John Lee Hooker breakout on Mary, but certainly not at the expense of Joey.  But I reckon the extended Mary is an opportunity for Geldof to take a bit of a breather. A normal length Mary, straight into No 1, then Rat Trap would be frenetic and test even Geldof's energy.

He could save a bit of energy by not doing The Boomtown Rats!   Mondays and Banana Republic slow things down enough.  He could go off stage and have a cuppa whilst they play out Banana Republic.

When he does his solo shows it generally ends with Mary of The Fourth Form followed by Joey's On The Street Again and then Rat Trap before they head off and return with a couple of songs and the final reprise of the Great Song of Indifference.  And there is no dicking around in Mary of The Fourth Form.  Best part of his solo show by a country mile.

I missed this at Wolves and would've liked another Surfacing/Mondo track.

Still, Rage was a great leftfield moment. Oi Oi!

If the Rats read this forum (unlikely, but you never know), just fcuking play Joey in Dublin!  You know it makes sense,

PS I suppose it is too much to hope that they don't bother with the eponymous song.

Surely they will play it in Dublin. If not there, then nowhere .
