There isn't that much I missed, but here's an interesting one that passed me by...

It's an interesting read but not complete. There's loads of TOTP shows missing,  the 1980 Parkinson interview is not referenced,  Wogan,  Cheggers Plays Pop, Crackerjack, Oxford Road Show,  Russell Harty,  etc etc

Maybe in years to come,  it'll link to the actual show?

It's good somebody puts this together though.

It's just an extract of Radio Times.  I believe it will eventually link to the show where available. Was Russell Harty on BBC?

The Russell Harty Plus show on ITV lasted until 1981 when he moved to the BBC.

The new BBC show, titled Harty, was an early evening celebrity chat show and it was here in 1981 that Russell received his infamous slap in the face by American singer and actress Grace Jones, who took offence because Russell supposedly turned his back on her to talk to his other guest. On the 9th March 1982,  the Rats performed House on Fire on his show. With 12 million tuning in each week,  this would have been a boost for the single in the early weeks of it's chart life.

There was a Rats special in '84 when Russell went back to Dublin with Geldof and visited Blackrock and other teenage 'haunts' as well as clips from a Rats gig there featuring Drag Me Down,  SLAY and Rat Trap. I have it on vhs somewhere.
