I have been designated to clear out the loft this weekend by the big boss. I know that in the large boxes full of photos there are a number of Rats photos that I took at the London gigs ie Hammersmith Odeon and Rainbow theatre in 78 and 79 . I should be able to scan them at work and upload them early next week fingers crossed, I know that they were taken with a pretty crap camera but they came out pretty good , all from front few rows.

How did you manage to get a camera in back then? I thought they were stricter. Or maybe they weren't. I don't even remember having a camera then, so wouldn't have taken one .

To be fair Jules I don't ever remember being searched, I used to take one of those long skinny cameras with the built in flash , never had it taken from me , maybe I was just lucky

It must be fairly rare to have non rofessional photos from those days. I look forward to seeing them.

I must admit I am looking forward to seeing them again too. I remember in particular Pete was wearing a cracking jumper this is because I made mum knit me one similar as it was not commercially available

I'm guessing this would have been the Surfacing tour (the only original tour I went to) with the noughts and crosses scaffolding as the backdrop.

I wasn't sure about these "jokes" at first, but think I'm starting to warm to them - must be all the insulation I have! Anyhow certainly on the way to being converted to this type of "humour". But where are those bl00dy photos?? Hopefully daggerat hasn't fallen off the ladder chuckling - or groaning - at the awful jokes ...

I really FELT you thought these jokes were OK and you weren't getting BOARD of them. You've clarified otherwise so that TILE have to reconsider whether to VENT any more of them, AERIAL might get banned from here and JOIST feel a right PLANK.

Still havent been able to find the F...... photos , i mean i have found photos but not the ones that matter. I think you all need to come round and join the search its like American Pickers up there so much old **** .

Can only really get up there at weekends as i dont get in until late during week , anothere venture up there on sunday let you know of any progress . i know i will find them its just a matter of time

Another look tomorrow I have found 2 more large plastic storage boxes full of pix, I am sure they are up there and will get them in the end.   if i don't find tomorrow I am away in Africa re business from Tuesday until 22nd April so fingers crossed
