Please send it to everybody you know who has access to the Internet. You may receive an apparently harmless email with a Power Point presentation Life is beautiful." It's best to check these things out before sending them on. I've done this before and my IT friends have then emailed me back, rather unimpressed with me - spreading this stuff around is nearly as bad as sending viruses
I haven't looked, but if you go on the microsoft website, they tend to state whether or not it is a hoax.
If you receive warnings like the mail you posted, check if it's "real" or a hoax. I googled hoax and database, there are lots of security and hoax warning sites. One is this:
Generally it is best not to open mails and especially and most importantly no attachments you get from people you don't know! Viruses etc can even be in mails from people you do know, again: especially in attachments!, so if you're not expecting an attachment, it's wise to check with the friend what's in the attachment.
Also make sure you have a good virus scanner which is updated regularly!
