The Rats 'known tour dates' says the Rats played Brunel Uni, Uxbridge on 4 december 1982. That is the only Uk date listed since April and May when they did an extensive tour. Not sure if the 'known dates' is comprehensive, but no mention of Wolverhampton in Nov 1982 there.

Weirdly they did a few dates in California and Canada in late 1982.

I don't recall and I lived in Wolverhampton at the time. Wes from this site would be another Wulfrunian to confirm or not.

They were back on our screens around this time,  performing Up All Night on Three Of A Kind (BBC Comedy sketch show) but not sure about a UK mini tour.

Thanks for finding this video Mark. It's great to see all these long lost tv performances- without the Internet doubtless they would never have seen the light of day again.

Wonder did Bob do 'baggy' long before the Stone Roses, Carpets etc, judging by that t shirt. He seemed to be very fond of these t -shirts in the eighties. Lol those old '80s  radios on the backdrop. Used to have of those.

Finally wish they had performed the song live. Must be a bit of a drag to turn up on the tele and have to pretend to be  playing the guitar and piano etc.

When you think what has surfaced over the last 10 years,  there is every prospect of much more coming back out & gasping for air (time)  smile

I have plenty I could upload to You Tube. Just need the time and the equipment.
