Depends what you consider Banana Republic as I guess

But apart from the 'Boomtown Rats' not heard anything apart from first 3 albums era.

First album is best represented - think it's only I Can Make it that hasn't had an airing at any point.

Geldof, Roberts and Briquette did play Dave in Dublin for the Dave McHale memorial, but that aside only Elephants Graveyard and Banana Republic have been aired.

Barton/Bradbury Rats played I Can Make it.  Last time was the last time pre-Geldof at Whelans in Dublin.

Agreed, but was thinking more about OP and since reunion, but yes means the first album has been aired in entirety within last 3 years or so.

Good shout on elephant's graveyard, the most recent old song played since reunion. Overlooked that one.

Another good shout. I was thinking back, and only Class of 77 gigs followed from memory, which would have been abridged sets no doubt. Really can't remember what was in their 'final' setlist as that incarnation though.

That said, I Can Make It probably featured at Wes' 50th, it being a favourite of his. Maybe he can confirm when he next signs on...

Don't know the Wes birthday set, I wasn't there, but they had a guest vocalist or two that night

Out of interest, what was the last time Pete Barton performed with Rats?

I'd like to think the anniversary show will delve into the latter back catalogue. Dave is most likely, but a blast of House on Fire would be very welcome. Too much to hope for He Watches It All, I guess.

Turned out to be the one in Yeovil, will have to dig out venue name (now defunct I gather) but it had a big London Underground style sign. Tabernacle Junction or something like that?

Guess that was about October '11?

He 'announced' last gig as the one in Germany in woods, at Ahmsen, then Bob B got incapacitated so he covered at Yeovil.

I thought the little death had got a hold of me and was beginning to drag me down but then got lucky and realised although hard times, it was just 7 minutes or so of listening to the boomtown rats from Ratlife ep over and over again.

Yes, EG is the most recent old song. Would love them to do select songs from the 5th and 6th albums too. House on Fire, Dave and Drag me Down particularly.
