just rec this cd from oz with up all night & don't talk to me on superb quality were all th albums done on cd pr 2005 ? Does anyone know?
Sort of.
Pre-2005, the available CDs were
Tonic US and UK with B Sides
Surfacing US (Which was identical to UK)
Mondo US (Which isn't the same as UK; no Fall Down/Whithall 1212)
V Deep Rest of World (Which isn't the same as US)
Loudmouth/Great Songs of Indifference
Personally I think they are all superior to the remasters. When I became aware of the releases in 2005 I sold my US Surfacing on eBay for about £50, but after hearing the remaster bought it back for less than £10. Person who sold it to me was amazed the value had dropped so much.
Yeah have mondo.fine art and tonic U.S cd's got from virgin many year's ago they had to order them for me long b4 ebay and pcs. LOL. Think I paid £16.99 for each of them why back around 1987, Regarding V deep and ITLG have the U.S editions but on tape only
You can get a Best Of from USA and Japan, both were released about 1986.The Japan cd I believe is the best of that the Rats were going to release after the ITLG tour.It was advertised in the tour program but never released.

My vinyl Mondo Bongo is a US import, bought in Islington. Unfortunately have no means to play, so at present its put away at the back of the cupboard so I can't compare anything!
