yeh I know, I had a crush on him for some time, and I behaved like a 40s something school girl - plus maybe even a bit distasteful considering he's spoken for etc.
but I'm over that now
truthfully I would love to speak to bob
I love his passion
I want to talk about politics and life with him
yeh yeh 'what makes you so special that bob would want to speak to you?' I hear echoing in my head
cos I'm not a C like you, I reply back.
anyway, just sayin, like.

its quite weird, but on a handful occasions I've been in deep thought, maybe on the way to work or summat ( I do a 15 min walk to the station in the morning) and I've almost literally reached for my phone to ring Bob. seriously. hmmm. ha imagine that eh, bob on your contacts list on the ol mobile.
I accidentally got the great hero of mine Jonathan Miller's by writing him a letter. Most prized number in my phone by a long stretch.
Ever called it?
I don't have the nerve! He did call me after the letter, though, which was unexpectedly sweet. I was so flustered that for some reason I decided to go outside and walk laps of the housing estate my parents live on while we made awkward conversation. It only occurred to me afterwards that my head was caked in hair dye. At least it wasn't Facetime so I only unsettled the neighbours.
