Yeh. The b sides are very good compared to other groups who might as well just release the a side on both sides as some b sides are so dire to listen to
Real Different was a brilliant b side, arguably just as good if not better than Graveyard on the A side.
Value for money from the Rats on the singles front, that's for sure except where an album track featured as the b side although I know someone who bought Surfacing after hearing When the night comes, convincing him there were 4 superb tracks there already so the other 6 were likely to be quality too.

Agree here Love Real different. Regarding Albums. Same can be said of In The Long Grass 4 singles and a few songs of this LP for B sides. But no hits of this one. Which I never did get my head around. Again Hard times Great song. But was only a b side to Dave which was a shame, as I think this would have made a good A side if not a double A side with Dave
Agree 100% manatthetop. Hard Times good enough to be an A side.
Watching TOTP 1981, quite a few acts lucky enough to get shown when positioned between 40 and 60. If DMD had been shown at 56 or 50 on TOTP it would have gone much higher than its peak of 50.
I think i said before that I loved no hiding place this should've been an a side instead of charmed lives. I played it all the while in 1982. Still love it now
