There is a certain innocence about Bob, which is so beautiful, I think.

Maybe he's just thinking 'I've got £33 million in the bank, suckers'.

is it a bit crass to talk about someone's finances publicly?

I mean is it like me saying 'oh yeh suss yeh I bet he's got a few quid in the bank, yeh reckon the house is worth 750k and his assets including his rats collection a further 78k.

then jules has been bankrupt a few times and is now paying back her loans by washing up for her creditors at their houses

obviously NONE of the above is true

but anyway I thought It was funny

its funny how we know more about someone who we don't know personally's finances than we do some of our own friends and family

a lot of us are pretty cagey about our money, I mean generally speaking it's pretty rude to go up to someone and say 'so how much are you worth then?' I mean imagine researching a person's worth who you know in passing and then posting it all on facebook for example.

yeh anyway, I suppose it's no real biggie. it is normal for well known people to have their financial details made public.

a bit like they're a company. a brand. almost. kind of thing. they've made something out of their name as have others. and so like companies produce their financial reports, we report on individual's net worth.

I am just musing........

but this leads me onto another subject. how many/much rights do we have on well known wealthy people? do we have the right to know all about their private lives? do we have the right to take pics of them semi naked on a beach and print in the papers? I don't personally think we should. I think that nude shots should only be published with permission.

also, I don't think that just because a footballer gets paid millions, that we automatically have the right to broadcast their private affairs all over the media? I find it terribly crass and cheap of us. to assume we own someone's arse almost just because they're rich and we helped them get rich, makes us vulgar..... and inhumane. I think although money and fame buy you certain freedoms. it also leaves you bare and vulnerable. the public will gloat over any twisted bit of justice they think they can glean somehow from the fact that you are suffering or made to look a fool when you've got so much fame and dosh.

put it this way. if your next door neighbour was having an affair with the milkman and a journalist caught wind of it and made it headlines in the local paper the next day, wouldn't that be awful??? even if you think the adulterer deserved it, what about the family? the kids? the victims? yeh I am socialist. I believe in equality. I believe in an all inclusive socialism that doesn't leave out the rich and famous. if you wouldn't do it to your neighbour, then don't do it to a rich and famous person.

anyway, back to Bob's millions. well there are those that would make bob's fortune look like a few crumbs. question is, why do they want it all? what drives them exactly to want more and more? whats the point?

when I start a political movement I will use some slogans.

how about these?

Embrace a celebrity - show one you love them.

Celebrities are human too

Celebrities and common people, join forces.

don't let the movement be the have nots against the haves.

brothers and sisters we can all learn from eachother

Government make profit for the common good.

Employ Sugar and Bannatyne to make us money.

Sugar and Bannatyne started from zilch, so can we.

you don't have to have trillions to build a self sufficient economy. some people have proved it. and we want THEM. they are welcome to bid for the contract with us. lol.

seriously wonder if any of them would be up for it.

jeeez nite nite
