Tony Visconti: A Life in Music, Union Chapel, London, N1 2UN, London - 24th July 2017
A brilliant night that can be relived when it is broadcast on Sky Arts in the Autumn. Packed with new talent and some surprise celebrity appearances. Not wishing to spoil the mystery, but it's worth tuning in just to see Bob Geldof sing Rebel Rebel.
The Union Chapel is a fantastic and unique venue and was a perfect setting for a night of music representing the work of Tony Visconti.
Sorry I did not get back to you ArrGee 1st I have been on from Tuesday nite. I had been watching this over the weeks showed you how they got this all together ending in the gig. Great stuff Geldof also does Heroes at the end with the rest of them
Don't adjust the colour on your TV when watching this, but sunglasses will help. Geldof's shirt? WTF! Does he not have a mirror?
Rebel Rebel sounded pretty good though.
Still available on Sky On Demand and Now TV for the next 24 days though I suspect there will be repeats in the future.
Looks like Mystic ArrGee right again, this time on Mega. What are they doing with it ?!
Still another eleven weeks, but shame you didn't have that wager with me
Hopefully a good sign that they aren't rushing something out, but with pretty limited activity this summer, it's not as if there are thousands who having seen them demanding a new LP.
PS I still don't think the LP will be called MEGA.

With each passing week, I am relieved I didn't have that wager with you. This album lethargy defined Bob's solo career so I shouldn't really be surprised.
