I've been looking for the audio of this for a while, having long since lost the cassette I recorded when it was broadcast on Radio 1 in December 1978. Well, it has been nearly forty years. Does anyone know of a source to download or stream this gig? I see that it used to be on YouTube but no longer.
I have got this. I an put on cd send me your adrenaline by message and I'll post it p.svthe quality isn't brilliant as taped off cassette ont o old computer system but it seems to work regards mike

Well, my original recording was on a really cheapo Woolworths cassette and sounded rubbish. Can you rip it to mp3 and email it? That would be better all around.
Ima dinosaur with emailing etc but can send on cd through post as my computer system is antiquated send me a p/m with your address and I'll stick one in post regards mike
Oh, Mike, you are a hero. I received it today and it brings back memories from a long, long time ago. I must have listened to this gig dozens of times as a teenager and knew Geldof's banter almost by heart. It's a fine gig, the band in good form. I am very fond of the two-guitar lineup of the Rats. I think it gave them a lot more power and flexibility.
Glad you like it I've only see. The rats 3times 82 ,83 &85 aim housebound now due to illness but keep in touch with info on this site and you tube snippets of concerts etc. Regards mike
