Remember this as though it were yesterday and have it on VHS tape somewhere in the loft. Not seen it since a house move in 1997! On the basis of the singles quality and considerable TV exposure, it still amazes me this only staggered to 50 on the charts. Queen and Slade in 1984 had no issues getting in the top ten, so why the Rats?
Just watched this again after 34years still can't believe it didn't chart as it was one of the best singles out in may 1984 hope new stuff is just as good (incidentally they charted higher in some local charts) but not in main chart unfortunately still a fab performance by the rats
