Hasn't 14 years changed you? You were posting at 1am, 2am in the morning in 2005!
What has changed is my baby daughter is now a teenager. Back then I was up all hours.
It happens... then one hopefully reverts to more normal sleep until 'disturbed sleep, teenage type' arrives!
It can be hard to properly settle til that door click /toilet flush is heard.
This programme however does not coincide with a teenager night out or a non-work night, so I doubt it will be heard live!
Pah, she stays up all night regardless of school. I don't hear what goes on downstairs as we sleep on the top floor with the teenagers in the middle. I come down in the morning to all the mess...
... she would be the only one up at 2.30am. But I doubt she will be tuning in.

She knows all too well what she would be missing after numerous car journeys in the last 14 years!
Mine have all been subject to a bit of Boomtown brain washing! It came to something in 2008 or 2009 when a teacher asked amusedly if I played IDLM a fair bit in the presence of the then 7 or 8 year old as he had been heard singing bits of it and asking another pupil if he knew the song !
I'm sure I recall Bob saying Fifi's favourite was Drag me Down....!

Neither of mine sang Rats songs, but when my son was around two or three did sing Birds in Your Garden by Pulp at full pelt. Which sounds innocent enough, but the lyrics were pretty risque...

Advertised track listing was wrong. There was no Mondays, Million Years or House on Fire. Instead, we got Keep it Up (best of the tracks in my view) and Picture Taken, slightly ruined by over indulgent sax work at the end. The appalling Charmed Lives I skipped through on X 30, after a singing error where the friends were seen and then sprayed and greased back! Maybe as a new song, Bob had not fully learned the right lyrical order. Like Clockwork had some slightly altered lyrics in the 'Count the hours' section.
Overall an enjoyable show which showed not too much deterioration due to Cott's departure.

I never saw The Rats live after Bongos Over Britain until the reformed Barton Rats. I was doing my degree between 1982 and 1986, so not sure why I didn't go and see the Rats somewhere or another. Probably busy doing whatever students do. The only gigs I went to were held in the Student Union. Even ended up on stage for one of them!
I don't really know what the impact of losing Cott was, but I think their best touring time (and recording time) was before Surfacing and the noughts and crosses set. BY the time Cott left I think his influence had disappeared.
