Not so. Very happy with Stone Valley South line up and All Points East last year was ace (even if Johnny Marr and Jarvis clashed along with Raconteurs v Interpol). Also Hyde Park had a great line up with The Who, Weller, Kaiser Chiefs, Gaz Coombes and Johnny Marr.
Not one of those line ups involved any of The Sweet nor any of The Stranglers. Though Hugh Cornwell should be good support for the Rats at Stone Valley.
From The Jam are the only act on that list that I would pay to see. And I am paying to see them twice in the next few months.

This looks like a Rewind /Lets Rock line up.
My fondness for 'Don't Go' purely subjective, it's fine if you don't like it.

Just wanted to state I like more acts than Sweet and Stranglers and that neither are essential to a good festival line up. Truth is I have only seen each of them live just once. Sweet back around 1985.
Stone Valley will be the first time I will see The Boomtown Rats at a festival. Massive bonus the other acts, especially Happy Mondays, are there as well. Cant believe there are about a dozen top acts at that one and it is only £40 and not too far to travel.
Always hoped there would be a Rebellion South festival of one of those Great British Alternative Festival, but hold the press, there is a cracker next February...
