That does look good. I like Big Country, the Crossing was great. 29th Feb birthdays entitle you to divide your age by 4 and be forever young.

Can't believe I just wrote that. wink

Not so keen on Bad Manners, but other three headliners are great. Mrs. ArrGee is going as well, but a bit worried about being assailed by tattooed punks and skins.

PS - I guess that they may even have the LP out by then...

Fits in nicely with the release of the new album. That must be about 5 festivals we know about already.

I wonder if The Rats will do TWO sets like they did before at Butlins. Could play the new songs live...

All booked (somehow I double booked, something I have to rectify in the morning) - half price until midnight tonight.

??? It's in deepest Somerset. Thought you never travel outside the M25.

Surely you remember meeting me in Cork and Dublin, though it has been a while I even ended up in Hurtwood once upon a time.

Must admit, it is further than I thought it was and we have to catch a bus/taxi from Taunton. Will be a long trip! Will let the train take the strain.

Stone Valley is also outside M25, but as the crow flies not so far away, and Mrs. ArrGee can rescue me on Sunday morning if I have had enough.

Of course I remember meeting you. That Cork gig was really good. Don't think I'm too bothered about the Forever Young gig in Ireland. Should be better more interesting gigs ahead-it's still very early and the prospect of a full album promo tour is on the cards as hinted at by PR, sorry meant PB.smile

With a heavy heart I won't be going after all Daughter can't go because she is under 18 and can't leave her home alone. Shame, but at least I will be there for Stone Valley.

1st May is Mrs. ArrGee's birthday, so I had to keep it free.

Jarv Is has announced a record signing at Rough Trade East

So I can't see Jarv Is nor Boomtown Rats at Palladium.  Could have done both as record signing ends at 7.45pm and Rats would have been on stage around 9pm.

My birthday was on Saturday and all my plans went up in smoke from Butlin's not allowing my under 18 trash glam daughter into the Alternate festival in Minehead (so I cancelled) and Orient & Arsenal having their games postponed.  So I just went out and had a very boozy brunch.

Anyway I am off to Brighton to see Boomtown Rats and Roundhouse for Jarv Is instead.

Thank you very much. I'd love for the tour to go ahead. I know it's not likely to sadly
