Great song, powerful lyrics. Not sure it had much air play. Richard Skinner definitely played it once on Radio One. It was then in competition with Do They Know It's Christmas ironically.

Yeh heard it twice on national radio although local station (I think beacon) played it about 3times over a couple of weeks but after stoic was released it seem to vanish from airwaves its still number 1for me and always will be

I remember hearing this song live for the first time, around 82-83 with Lucky and thinking what a great couple of new songs, never get tired of listening to it. Classic Rat song, could play live and just let Garry and Darren handle the guitars.

Shame they don't regularly play it live these days. Imagine if they had played it at Boston when you went to see them, if you were already in heaven without it!

It is about time the set was revamped.  Dave would be a good start along with KicksHoward Hughes and Guilty which have made the odd rare outing in recent times.  Dont Believe What You Read and Living In An Island would be good as well.  No need for Another Piece of Red.

I agree wholeheartedly. They can leave Charmed Lives out of it too.

I always felt Drag me Down came across well live.

It would make sense to change up the set after the release of the new album and I guess Trash Glam Baby will be played live but it would be nice if House On Fire,Dave and Drag Me Down got some airplay.

Have you heard it?  Wonder if they would play new songs aside from the eponymous song.

I have not heard the new song (you would all know if I did) but I would be suprised if they do not play it as it is going to be the lead single from the album. So much good stuff to look forward to next year.

Singles ain't what they used to be.  Maybe they will drop the eponymous song for it.  I hope so.
