Not really sure. Just duplicating FB as far as I can see as all content so far just leads back to stuff already up on Facebook.

They didn't bother to put TGB lyrics on FB or say why video would not be up on YouTube for a week. Hopefully it will get better, but the clunky worded 'updates' is probably what we'll have to get used to.

Ok if I see something original that justifies a website then I'll give that credit.

Should qualify it by saying impressed that something has been created and I like the album discography. The lack of online presence, updates has been a constant criticism. It has potential and hopefully, it will come to contain meaningful info and the peculiar phraseology will die off. Wording like 'thousand incantations amalgamating' irritates.

Whatever happened to boomtownrats.co.uk/ ?

New site looks good, but lacks content and yes, the writing is irritating.

Also quite funny how that woman is inadvertently in the background,

Cool shirt Bob.  NOT!

As an aside http://theboomtownrats.blogspot.com/ is still going

I'm not sure hyperlinking to 'tour' then taking the piss out of people for not seeing it on the homepage will win people over.

People who are familiar with the 'interwebular thing' tend to take the shortest cuts possible to details needed when they hit a site.

What's the point of separate links if everything is buried in homepage?

Ok - edited to say just seen the dates are below the pisstake. But why the belittling?

Also just discovered that the samplers per album will continue until paused, even if you jump to another album. Could make for some interesting home made mashups
