Agree with this. I was working in Birmingham City Centre at the time and there was another Rats fan in the office. I bet him £5 Love would go higher than TGSOI and of course I lost. He understood why TGSOI had been a hit, but knew somehow that Love would fail. I could not understand it and, like you, think it was slightly better than TGSOI. Thought both videos were excellent too. I think TGSOI was helped by Simon Mayo playing it a lot on his Radio One breakfast show, where he would say 'if you know the dance steps, you can join in at this point' etc.
The I was convinced it would do ok but I seemed to have been the only person at my work who was a couple of colleagues joked saying I didn't know he was a musician I showed them his discography from one of the books at the time they didn't even know he had gone solo and thought the rats finished in about1982 after house on fire and a lot has moved on to the quality 90s music !!!!!!! (Sarcastic cough )so much rubbish in charts in 1990s I bought hardly anything at those times until happy club was released

It's the 12 ins single of Love or something else. The remix of TGSOI. Is much better than the single.
