Just found this by accident on Dave Gilmour's site. Even though it is a sellout tour, Milan seems to be causing problems.
"Still on the subject of Italian shows, there appear to have been problems with the Milan tickets. It seems that anyone who ordered stalls tickets have had their orders cancelled due to ticket allocation problems, and they need to check their emails urgently even though they have had confirmation of securing the tickets."
Interesting. Also, Depech Mode have just cancelled Lisbon and Pete Docherty , Ibiza. Is it catching?
Interesting. Also, Depech Mode have just cancelled Lisbon and Pete Docherty , Ibiza. Is it catching? Pete Doherty cancelling a concert! Wow! Fcuk me, only Geldof cancels more than him! More fcuking surprising if Pete hasn't been arrrested and turned up at a concert in the same day. That would be news.
I am of to see Bob play in Denmark soon.I hope he does not cancel. The only problem is that the tickets cost nearly 50 POUNDS!.Honestly how many tickets is he going to sell at those prices?.I will also like to say a BIG sorry to all the fans who went to Italy for the gigs.My heart goes out to all the people who spent all the time and money going to these concerts.
According to the Italian promoter, it was deliberate sabotage, with some internet sites claiming that the gigs were sold out. Which sites would that be then? A really, really poor excuse.
On second thoughts, is it a wild theory? 2 people connected to live 8 have seemingly had their tickets tampered with in Milan this year. Bob does have enemies in high places . Or am I reading too many consirpacy novels?
I like this quite humerous article in the Guardian. "Geldof should try cosmic ordering". For people outside the UK, Noel Edmonds used to be on TV all the time until his career took a nosedive, but is back with a new show because the cosmos, whatever that is, helped him.
