He has just finished talking, mostly about the book, but also touched on Milan. He did not seem too concerned about it and was laughing. Italian websites were saying it was sold out. He is going back on 3 October to a 600 theatre to do a free show. Also mentioned an "Italian Fan Club". Will make a new album when he feels like it. Seemed like the same old Bob.
Good to hear he is alright again. So back in Milan 3 october? I hoped that it won't be in September, because I have to be in Pecs when the University starts, but october is OK for me.
Hi, I visited the bbc radio 2 - side, but I could not find this interview ! Can anyone help me, please ? What is the name of the show or who is the interpreter ?
Go to listen again, then Steve Wright in the Afternoon, Friday 28 July. Mark Ratcliffe was actually standing in for him. You have to listen for 2 hours before Bob comes on though.
I've listened to it. Well Bob didn't sound wildly enthusiastic about putting a free gig 'I'll just do the thing and go home.' Hope he puts more effort into it than that. And he says he can just write music when he feels like. Hey wait a minute, what about us?

He didn't deal with the cancelled gig too well.
Why was a 1500 capacity arena stated as 12000 in the press?
200 people in a sweaty club? What the Shepherd's Bush Empire? I like the way he side stepped that by saying he chooses to go and play to crowds of 2000. He wishes.
And how well did SA&D do "five" years ago in 2002? Didn't chart, didn't sell that much (less than any other album, even The Happy Club). Fcuk me, is he saying U2 would be happy with selling a fistful of albums? By anyone's standards SA&D was NOT a commercial success.
And no one in the Italian fan club paid for the tickets? Did Eddy mention that?
Turn up, play and get out of there, Well I hope at least he'll make the effort to play. I wouldn't hold my breath on that Milan gig.
