Given the number of good singles this year, I can only name 19 albums that would be worth getting, and the Killers is the only one that I really like (though Muse and Arctic Monkeys are pretty good). So if anyone got record tokens, this is how to spend them!
Killers - Sam's Town
Muse - Black Holes and Revelations Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am That's What I'm Not Kooks - Inside In / Inside Out Panic At The Disco -A Fever You Can't Sweat Out Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Show Your Bones Red Hot Chili Peppers - Stadium Arcadium Dirty Pretty Things - Waterloo To Anywhere Raconteurs - Broken Boy Soldiers Futureheads - News And Tributes Razorlight - Razorlight My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade Jarvis ****er - Jarvis CSS - Cansei De Ser Sexi Gossip - Standing in the Way of Control Fratellis - Costello Music Long Blondes -Someone To Drive You Home Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Show Your Bones The Strokes - First Impressions Of Earth

I like the first half of Hot Fuss, but after the magnificent All These Things That I’ve Done, it does fall away a bit. Sam's Town is just more epic and consistent. It's like Morrissey singing Bruce Springsteen or even Meatloaf! Bones is one of the best songs ever about shagging ever!
I think it is a leap forward from Hot Fuss, and if they continue to improve at this rate they will be the greatest American band ever!
They have a long way to go to catch the Eagles. The Eagles Greatest Hits has outsold Thriller in the US. Maybe I'm still getting used to Sams Town & Arrgee I agree with you regarding the second half of Hot Fuss. I LOVE somebody told me & All these things that I have done. I was wide awake weds night humming All these things that I have done. It was in my head & just wouldn't let me sleep!!!!
