Does anyone have any talents.  Have you written any songs or poems?  I have written a poem, but not sure if I'm brave enough to share!  So I thought I'd share a photograph I took.  It was going to be for a website for a horror film a friend was making.  I thought I'd show you this one.  I also want to experiment with the attach a photo!!  What do you have?

That is a fantastic photo.  Please share your poem.

I've been writing bad poetry since I was 19.  I have a few recent poems on on profile at MySpace.

I'm currently doing quite a bit of Google poetry.  How that works is you type in a short phrase (2 or 3 words at least) and then search.  I usually set the page to be at least 50 items.  Then I look at the resuls and find phrases and sentences and create a prose piece with it.  It's can be quite goofy and twisted sometimes.

Hmm OK I'll send it to you privately.  It really isn't good enough to air.  Thanks re: photo.  It was taken in the University Parks in Oxford.  The University Parks is a beautiful area and lends itself to good photography without even trying.  I took a number a photos around there when I was doing this project.

I wrote alot of poetry when I was in school but unfortunately they were misplaced at some stage. The only one I've wrote recently is on my blog. Thats my massive (ha ha) blog with my poem & photos from Bob from the freedom of Dublin!! I never seem to have the time at the minute but I've always loved writting & won competitions for essay writting in the past.
I've some amazing photos of scenery in Ireland but no way of putting them on the net at the moment. I love photography & have thousands literally! 1 of the best inventions has to be the digital camera! As I was right at the front of Bryan Adams last concert I took 75!! I know I'm crazy.... but when the opportunity was there....

A very common emotion
believing there was something wrong with them.

Can function in isolation
with other generators.
Within our own little world
of heavy grab and frosty windows,
Doubts plague us. Are we crazy?

We will eventually dry up and evaporate.
For weeks no one knew where he was
let alone what he was doing.
You deserve better than that.
This is where my apology comes in.

Talk to that person for a moment.
Like all social animals
We are lost and helpless

and everything is possible.

I hope you (or anyone else who'd like to) can share some photos or poems whenever you are able.  

I've saved some digital photos on the internet through PhotoBucket (there are many websites that offer this free service).  I'm doing that though because I'm hoping to replace my computer in a few months.

Once upon a time

there was a little girl.

This little girl was like

any other, only this little girl's

father was a monster.


It's often said that only in great suffering

is one's true character revealed.

This virus that has haunted me

is a somewhat surreal experience.


I've learned the power of connection

and enjoying having a place to write

whatever I feel at the moment.

I'm behaving myself.

I'm sensitive and I'm open.


I will be

under the microscope

all the time.

OK Deb has persuaded me to share mine.  Please don't compare it to any of hers though and allow me the fact it is the first one I've really written:

The Seasons Of The Sun

All is new and all is growing

let’s breathe new birth, let’s breathe new life.

All new seeds they are sowing.

You shine so brightly and

keep my world so glowing


You reach up to the stars,

standing tall in strength and beauty.

You give me light, you give me warmth.

This is you at your very best,

you always leave standing all the rest


It is your Autumn days now,

you no longer have the power

but you still give life such richness

such glory, and such brightness.

You still give colour an extra shower,

no not yet are you ready to cower


No strength and power. You are now bereft,

your golden days have all but gone.

Under a veil you are left

to tease and tantilise Mr Jack Frost.

You cannot beat him any longer;

he shimmers and sparkles under your gaze

As very slowly but surely you start to fade
