Thanks Debs. the first one, on the death of the BRs is interesting and very honest. The one in front of the train is either him arriving at Edinburgh for the G8, or him about to leave Kings Cross station.
Why have so many videos been removed ?? Does anybody have the copies of these videos ? I am desperately looking for "up all night".... Maybe someone can help me...... would be great
All of the big record companies are threatening to sue, or in the proces of suing sites like youtube and myspace for copyright violation. Indeed there is a court case very soon. Just this week EMI became the first record label to come to an agreement with youtube to let their music be used on the site. I don't know if you have noticed, but Bob's and the Boomtown Rats' music has been removed from myspace as well. I can understand them wanting to protect their creations, but it also was free publicity.
and some more videos on the bbc's top of the pops archive. Maybe a good place to look is the archives in the tv stations as they may have their own copyright. Hope the music moguls sort out copyright soon. nick
