"Millions from across the globe use the website..." - sure, just like the millions who go to his gigs
No such thing as bad publicity; I had a look around for any, ahem, dodgy links.Purely to checknone remained. Nothing else. Honest. Doubtless I'll get blamed for this
The official charity page on BOB GELDOF's internet site was infiltrated by hackers who redirected kind-hearted donors to a pornographic website featuring schoolgirls. Shocked browsers using the donations link on BobGeldof.info were sent to the graphic sex site. Officials have now corrected the link, and hope the incident won't effect the level of funds raised. An insider says, "We don't know how long the porn was up for. We pray the charity hasn't lost too much money in donations. "There are some sick people out there."
SIR Bob Geldofs official charity webpage was hijacked by PORN pirates. The donations link on bobgeldof.info redirected charity givers to a vile hardcore site offering X-rated schoolgirl filth. One benefactor said: I went to give money to the Band Aid trust only to be redirected to a website that had some of the most disgusting images Ive ever seen. Im sure neither Sir Bob or any of his people knew about this but it is sickening none-the-less.To think someone could hijack a charity site is beyond belief. Last night the link was removed by the firm that runs the site after it was alerted by The Sun.Millions from across the globe use the website to donate funds to Sir Bobs Band Aid charity. The link is designed to allow donations using credit and debit cards.Last night a source close to the star said: We dont know how long the porn was up for. We pray the charity hasnt lost too much money in donations. There are some sick people out there
TABLOID JOURNALISTS are fabled for their lack of a sense of irony. How else can we explain the UK's biggest selling daily paper, the self-styled Soaraway Sun, getting its split-crotch knickers in a twist over reports that erstwhile-rocker-turned-saint Sir Bob Geldof's Website has been hacked? While the Currant Bun's page three features the usual fare of demure young Sunday School pupils whose clothes have mysteriously been mislaid, the news pages scream hysterically about Bob's site having a link to 'a vile hardcore site offering X-rated schoolgirl filth' containing 'some of the most disgusting images Ive ever seen.' The ever-vigilant guardian of British morals contacted Geldof's people and warned them of the 'sickening' and 'beyond belief' images which are obviously far worse than any of the premium rate chat lines and adult sites advertised in, err, the Sun's classified section.
