Some of what Bob had to say was talked over in that. I'm not referring to Bono's snoring.
Did anyone see them both yesterday ranting about the lack of follow up and apparently ridiculously worded document? Bob ranted on and even Bono made a comment about 'say it how you mean it Bob'. Bob's face was like thunder though and he didn't smile. Apparently the document is 25 pages long and is 'total drivvel'. It talks of money promised to Africa but no timelines in which this money would be paid. In other words it could be at a rate of 1 p a year if they so decide. No wonder Bob was so . Keep it up Bob, be the thorn in their side and keep digging.
There is a lod of great stuff on youtube with Bob and Bono. Those 2 should release a unplugged album together.
Geldof should look into something like that, though I suspect Bono has bigger fish to fry. Under The Influence would have been more interesting if the artist re-recorded the songs with original band members. Taking some of the tracks off that album, Geldof could have recorded them with Wilco Johnson, Pete Townsend, John Cale, Brian Eno, and Ray Davies. You never know, he may hold enough sway over David Bowie to have him involved. Of course, he could always have his old mates like Bono, Sting and Eric Clapton for songs that influenced both of them (hey, maybe Bono could do Neon Heart). If it's good enough for Jools Holland, it's good enough for Geldof.
I suggested this once before when we discussed his music career. It would make sense as it would sell to all U2 fans and that's a huge fan base. Also there are quite of lot people around here who are fans of U2 also - so it might well appeal to many. Yes there is the option of his doing duets with various artists also.

Bobs unique guitar playing ie. righthanded guitar upside down, produces a much 'brighter' tone as he plays the beat in the conventional way, down strum on the beat.
Maybe the album should be called 'peggnldun ouoq ,u qoq'
nick but that concert with all the 'heads' walking out on stage was pure magic.

You can also see the titles of the songs he played (in bold type) - first with German band Die Toten Hosen, later with Bono, Youssou N'Dour and Campino (the singer with the Hosen).
