Pop star, politician, living legend, devil's advocate, freelance genius, media mogul, big-mouthed gob****e: Who the hell does Bob Geldof think he is? In my head, Geldof says - and he spends a great part of his time in/inside/within his head - everything I do is music. Surely millions of people may surprise this. But music is the central part of my life. I have a physical longing for music and I think I've alsways done well (in music).
Bob Geldof organized the Live 8 concert in 2005, which is commonly referred to as the reissue of the legendary 1985 Live Aid concert. Live 8 took place on July 2, 2005 in Hyde Park in Lodnon as well as in eight other places, namely Paris, Berlin, Rome, Philadlphia, Tokio, Johannesburg, Moscow and Barrie. Geldof has repeatedly been nominated for the nobel peace prize for his commitment.
In 2006, Geldof was awarded the special award of the German phono industry at the ECHO awards. Laudator was Die Toten Hosen frontman, who held a great speech for Geldof at the awards ceremony.
IT WONT HAPPEN!! DONT BOOK TICKETS OR FLIGHTS TRUST ME IT WILL BE LL BE CANCELLED HIS MANEGEMENT COULD NOT RUN A BATH!! THEY SHOULD BE SACKED THE BUNCH OF FREELOADERS
I totally agree with you re- the management Reevo. A waste of space and doing Bob no favours at all. The only difference is that this is a small venue and Bob usually does well in Germany. We will just have to wait and see. I certainly would not travel any distance now, without knowing that the gig was definitely on. It is going to take a lot of work on Bob's part to get his fanbase back for live shows. Once bitten twice shy, as the saying goes.
