Incredible, that it took so long for these great shows to appear.

The set list on the 27th is probably as close to perfection as was possible at that time including Never Bite The Hand That Feeds, a song rarely performed live at that point.  Only omission is Close as you'll Ever Be, but that is being picky.

I wonder if Wolfgang has any more Château Ratrus in his vault.

You've all heard this before.... But I think its amazing.

The wolfgangsvault site is a real treat........

Its uncanny to listen to these recordings of Mondays. Its less than one month since the atrocity  of 29 jan. 1979. The first night must be one of the first playings of Mondays Live. The lyrics arn't totally sorted out, especially on the first night (verse 3). Bob doesn't even remember Brenda Spencers name. Its the first day of her trial. The last track of 28.2.79, the medley when he slags off the radio producers in the back of the hall and puts the spotlight on them. Was that the moment He blew it ????
By the way, trivia, an Irishman, Larry Gogan (Irish national radio DJ) was the first person to play Mondays on air! Legend!!!
