I suppose if Johnny's auntie tell Pete to play with him then he will However I guess the new members (a bassist and lead guitarist) wouldn't be too happy if Pete & Gerry turned up. 28 UK dates though, that's about 4 times more than Geldof managed last time out.
Peter Barton will be joining The Boomtown Rats for an extensive 28 date UK Tour. Along with two founding members Simon Crowe and Gary Roberts. All the classic Boomtown Rats hits including Rat Trap and I dont Like Mondays. The tour will also feature Eddie and The Hot Rods.
damnit I'm travelling back from france on the 9th, that's unlucky, so I really really hope they follow through on the december/januray dates *please guys* lol =]
Who is going to London?.I just might be able to make it.I am trying to raise some cash and come over to London.Does anybody know how the tickets are selling?.

Very true! However, I'm looking forward to seeing the Rats sans Geldof. I'd rather see Cott & Fingers there ahead of Geldof. And given Gerry's performances on You Tube he's obviously still got it. There was talk of Fingers coming on board, but I don't know if that will happen.
I just can't wait to see them at the 100 Club! C'mon Fingers & Cott, get yerselves along there as well! Ticket details above.

Hi Room I went to the 100 Club to see The Rats. No longer allowed to use the name The Boomtown Rats because of a certain Sir Bob who used a legal objection. The band were amazon and played a GREAT gig they ROCKED and it was back to hard core Rock Music as it should be played. I count myself very lucky to witness this great gig and over the years have attened 100s including early Pistol and U2 gigs well this stacked among them as an all time gig. Well done lads and i will be at some more next Year in and around London. The band did not suffer in talent or energy and delivered well and yet again it proves that the Band is bigger and better than a singer who goes solo. The Rats should be proud. MORE PLEASE LADS. P.S It was nice tosee that they had not forgotten the fans and spent time talking to us. CHEERS..............STEVEPUNKPOOL
Were not that busy here (Ireland, recession). So if 'The Rats' are interested we would love to see them on the old sod! Maybe the celtic tiger could learn to 'Do the Rat!!!' Wouldn't do him any harm, if I can find him!!
nick ps. you've been having too much fun in England!!!!!
