Influence the Under

Recently we had "Under The Influence" which Oklahoma themes and Cliff Richard (and maybe Kris Kristofferson) apart was alright.

How about turning the tables a bit on that and Geldof record some tracks from groups he may have (or probably didn't) influenced!  Any teniuous link will do!   Just having Rat/Mondays in the title is enough!

So we have Razorlight (Up All Night) and The Flys (16 Down).

Then we have the Strokes (Last Nite [almost Late Last Nite]) and Happy Mondays (Bob's Yer Uncle!).

Add in Massive Attack (Teardrop) and best of all Pulp (The Fear).

And even Tori Amos, who covered Mondays (Professional Widow(er) !!!!)  And that been the case Sugarmoth and Trunk Federation (no suggestion I don't know either that well)

so anymore to add to this list....

Razorlight (Up All Night)

The Flys (16 Down)

Strokes (Last Nite)

Happy Mondays (Bob's Yer Uncle!)

Tori Amos (Professional Widow(er) !!!!)

Massive Attack (Teardrop)

Pulp (The Fear)

Specials (Rat Race)

UB40 (Rat in me Kitchen)

Susan Maughan (Bobby's Girl)

Rialto (Monday Morning 5:19)

Bangles (Manic Monday)

Mamas & Papas (Monday Morning)

and if we must

Roland Rat (Rat Rapping)  LOL

Crazy - Patsy Cline (how many other songs are there with the title Crazy)
Joey's On The Street Again - Sham 69
Living On An Island - Status Quo - well almost is good enough - you said tenuously linked!
Year of The Rat - Badly Drawn Boy
Monday Monday - Mama's and Papa's
Waterloo Sunset - The Kinks (OK it's the otherway around I know)
All the rest of Razorlight's songs

How about these for starters?

I've tried posting that around 4 or 5 times. Finally.

I wasn't going to put any more angels on this list, but as I was listening to Aerosmith yesterday I realised two of their song titles were:

Angel
Crazy
