I held off buying my ticket for 100 Club until fairly late in the day, cos this has a habit of happening where Geldof is concerned (I never got a ticket for the "postponed" Shepherd's Bush gig) and I'm not surprised that it has happened to the Rats.

However given it was Saturday night and Crewe can't be that kicking (maybe it is, I apologise if Crewe is where it is at on a Saturday night), I would have thought they'd get a decent crowd from people just going out for the evening.  After all it was only £11 on the door.

I was going to the Crewe gig with some others and we had not got any tickets yet as it was exactly the same price to pay on the night as buying tickets in advance - so we thought we might as well pay on the night.

Tickets are still being sold on the venue website.

Typical metropolitan assumption. I live between Crewe and Nantwich and I can tell you, err .......you're assumption is absolutely correct.

Mind you, I'm not far off 50 and the musical youth might have a different view. Doubt it though.
