Battle of The Teenage Kicks! Round 1!

CD1 vs. CD2


Basically pick your favourite song from each match up, and all the winners go through to the next round. So it doesn't drag on, voting ends midnight (UK) Friday 8th April, and then the second round draw will take place....


Will need to decide how to deal with a last 5, but in the meantime, my votes!

Yeah, yeah, yeah.  I've never heard the vast majority of this stuff, so I can't really play.


The only 2 matches in which I've acually heard both tracks are:


04 - The Clash, Rock The Casbah v. The Pretenders, Brass In Pocket


27 - David Bowie, Ashes To Ashes v. Talking Heads, Psycho Killer. 


After that, I'm lost.

uh...I'm with ya there Fran. I know about 5% of this list! obviously it must be b/c the US wasn't exposed to many of these bands...or I'm too young...

Counting the votes in this round isn't going to be much fun!  I guess the only certainty is that the Boomtown Rats will get through (though I would be surprised if they are victorious, it's a tough competition!)
